How to download videos from UC Drive
Four steps, no account, and no software. This guide works for folder links, single-file links, and direct video URLs. It also covers the common reasons a link fails.
Copy the full UC share link
Open the message or post and copy everything from https:// through the share ID. Keep the ?la= or ?pwd= part if it is present.
Paste it into the downloader
Use the search box on the home page and click Download. The resolver validates the share and lists the videos it can access.
Choose and preview
Filter the list, check the size and resolution, and press Play if you want to preview the file in the MP4 player.
Save the original file
Click Download on the file row. The browser saves the original file; no re-encoding or watermark is added.
What happens at each step
A little context helps when a share does not behave the way you expect.
Step 1: Copy the full share link
A UC share link contains a share ID after /s/. The ID is what lets the resolver find the share. If the link was split across two lines in a chat app, the copy may be incomplete. Long-press the link and use the copy action instead of selecting the text by hand.
Links with extra parameters are fine. For example, https://drive.ucweb.com/s/a7c4e91b2d63?la=id includes a locale parameter. A protected share may include ?pwd=.... Keep those parameters; they do not interfere with the resolver.
Step 2: Paste it into the downloader
Open the downloader and paste the link into the search box. Click Download. The resolver validates the share, lists the root folder, and follows any subfolders. For a large folder this can take a moment; the result panel shows a loading state while it works.
If the share is protected, a password field appears. Enter the password from the person who shared the folder. You can also put it directly in the link as ?pwd=YOUR_PASSWORD. The password is used only to unlock the share and is not stored.
Step 3: Choose and preview a video
The result panel lists every video it found. Each row shows the file name, size, resolution, and duration. Use the filter box to search by name and the sort menu to order by name or size. Click Play to load a file into the built-in MP4 player. The player supports seeking, speed control, picture-in-picture, and fullscreen.
If a video does not play but still downloads, the browser may not support its codec. The file itself is fine. Download it and open it in VLC, or convert it to MP4 with H.264 and AAC. The format guide explains the differences.
Step 4: Save the original file
Click Download on the row. The browser receives a normal file download with the original name. Large files are streamed, so the browser can show progress and resume when the server supports range requests. Keep the tab open until the transfer finishes.
Download links are temporary by design. A session lasts about 45 minutes and is bound to the connection that resolved the share. If a link expires, paste the share link again for a fresh one.
Downloading on a phone
On iPhone, Safari saves the file to the Files app under Downloads. Tap the Downloads icon in the toolbar to see progress. On Android, Chrome saves to the Downloads folder and shows a notification. Mobile data limits can be reached quickly with HD video, so use Wi-Fi for large files when possible.
Downloading an entire folder
Paste the folder link, not a link to one file inside it. The resolver walks nested subfolders and lists every video it can access. Each file has its own button. Browsers may block dozens of automatic downloads, so save files one at a time or use the copy-link action with a download manager. The folder guide covers large collections.
Why a download can fail
Match the message you see to the most likely cause.
| Message | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Invalid URL | The link is incomplete or not a supported format | Copy the full link and try again |
| Share not found | The share was deleted, expired, or made private | Ask the owner for a new public link |
| Password required | The share is protected | Enter the password or add ?pwd=... |
| No videos found | The folder has no video files or points to an empty subfolder | Open the root folder link |
| Link expired | The 45-minute download token timed out | Resolve the share again |
