Online HD MP4 Video Player

Play a direct video URL or open a file from your device with zero uploads. The player uses your browser's native decoder for smooth playback, and it is the same player used by the UC share downloader.

This form accepts direct video URLs. For a UC Drive or UC Browser share link, use the UC downloader so the folder can be resolved first.

How to use the player

Three ways to load a video

The player accepts a resolved UC stream, a direct video URL, or a local file.

1. Play a UC Drive video

Resolve the share on the home page, find the file in the result list, and click Play. The player scrolls into view and starts the stream. You can then seek, change speed, or download the original file.

2. Load a direct video URL

Paste an HTTPS URL that ends in a video extension into the form above. The player loads it directly. Signed cloud URLs work while their signature is valid. HLS playlists (.m3u8) are not supported by this player.

3. Open a local file

Click Open local video and choose a file from your device. The browser creates a temporary local URL, so the file is not uploaded. This is useful for checking a download before moving it to another folder.

Keyboard shortcuts

  • Space to play or pause.
  • Left and right arrows to seek five seconds.
  • M to mute and unmute.
  • F to toggle fullscreen.

Player FAQ

Questions about browser playback

Short answers to the most common playback questions.

Can I play a UC Drive video on this page?

Yes. Resolve the UC share link on the home page, then click Play on any video in the result list. The player loads the stream here. The direct URL form on this page is for direct video links that are already playable.

Does the player upload my local video file?

No. A local file is opened with a temporary browser blob URL and never leaves your device. Closing the tab releases the URL.

Why will my MKV file not play?

Browser support for MKV is limited. The container may hold codecs the browser cannot decode. Download the file and open it in VLC, or convert it to MP4 with H.264 and AAC.

Is there a file size limit?

The player streams the file, so it does not need to load the whole video into memory. Practical limits depend on your device, browser, and available bandwidth. Very large files can still take time to buffer.

Have a UC share link?

Resolve the folder first, then play any video in this player. Original quality, no re-encoding.
