Privacy Policy

1. Summary

UC Video Downloader is built to process share links transiently. It does not require an account, does not ask for your UC password, does not store downloaded video files, and does not keep a database of the links you submit. The main personal data involved is standard web request metadata handled by our hosting provider, Cloudflare.

2. What we process

• Share links you submit. The link and any share password are used in memory to read the public share and build a list of files. They are not written to persistent storage by the application.
• Video metadata. File names, sizes, durations, and resolutions are returned to your browser so you can choose a file. This metadata is cached at the edge for a short time so repeated requests are fast, then it expires.
• Download tokens. When you resolve a share, the server issues an encrypted session token that contains a share reference, an expiry time, and a binding to your connection. The token is valid for about 45 minutes.
• Request metadata. Our hosting provider may log the IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp, and security events, as any web host does.

3. What we do not do

• We do not store the videos you download on our servers.
• We do not ask for your UC account credentials or cookies.
• We do not re-encode or watermark your files.
• We do not sell or rent personal data.
• We do not create permanent public links to your files.

4. Cookies and local storage

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and the application does not use browser local storage to profile you. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to distinguish automated traffic from real visitors. Cloudflare's privacy-first Web Analytics may record aggregate page views without cookies or cross-site tracking. If an optional Turnstile challenge is enabled, Cloudflare processes the challenge data under its own policies.

5. Third-party services

• Cloudflare hosts the application and serves downloads. Cloudflare processes request data to deliver and protect the service.
• UC Drive and UC Browser are the upstream storage providers. When you submit a share link, the server contacts UC to read the share. UC's own privacy policy applies to that interaction.

6. Data retention

Encrypted session tokens and cached file metadata expire automatically, typically within minutes to about 45 minutes. The application does not maintain a long-term store of links or files. Any request logs kept by the hosting provider are retained according to Cloudflare's policies and used only for operations, reliability, and abuse prevention.

7. Security

Traffic is served over HTTPS. Session tokens use AES-GCM authenticated encryption and are bound to the connection that created them, so a copied token stops working on a different network. Access to the service is rate limited. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so avoid sharing sensitive links in public places.

8. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly process personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the service in a way that raises a privacy concern, contact us and we will investigate.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, to object to processing, or to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Because the service does not maintain an account database, there is usually no stored record to delete. For any request, email support@ucvideodownloader.my.id and describe what you need.

10. International users

The service is delivered through a global edge network. By using it, you understand that request metadata may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to the hosting provider's safeguards.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service or the law. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
